Configuring fiscal calendar using EBS Source

741189Dec 16 2009 — edited Dec 23 2009
Hi,

When I'm doing the common configurations for BI Applications 7.9.6 there is a configuration about configuring fiscal calendars. My source is EBS application. I got bit confused at this step. It is mentioned that three types of calendar tables Gregorian, Fiscal and Enterprise are used.

I'm clear about configuring Gregorian calendar. Coming to configuring fiscal calendar I want to configure using my EBS fiscal calendar(which is not any enterprise calendar). But this configuration I'm not able to find. It is having options for setting up an enterprise calendar using an Oracle EBS source system and setting up generated calendars 13 period and 4-4-5 calendars.

I assume when we setup Enterprise calendar it will populate the tables prefixed 'W_ENT' and generated calendars will populate tables prefixed 'W_MCAL'. Then how about I populate tables prefixed 'W_MCAL' with my EBS Sourced fiscal calendar.

It is also mentioned in configuration guide 'Both source calendars and generated calendars are stored in the Multiple Fiscal Calendar (known as MCAL) tables'. Can I know how this will work.

Thanks in Advance,
