Need to understand for configuring 2 node rac for SCAN configuration using DNS need to have a DNS entry with one single name that resolves to 3 IP addresses using a round robin algorithm. The IP addresses must be on the same subnet as your default public network in the cluster. I need to provided details to N/W admin for configuring SCAN. What details I need to give i.e I require 3 ip address using round robin algorithm as before scan we generally require 3 ip's a) Private, b) Public & 3) VIP.
Apart from this to configure shared storage I have 3 mount points mapped to both server. Shall I use these 3 mount points and make them discoverable using ASMLib.
Kindly advice over the same.
