SQLDeveloper uses in my Linux PC the generally configured local language for its user interface and also as default for Oracle DB NLS. I my case everything appears in German.
However, if I want to have English as UI language despite the locale settings, how can this be achieved?
One possibility can be to write a wrapper script for starting SQLDeveloper that unsets the language settings provided by the operating system, but that's only plan B.
