CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO REDUNDANCY 2;

hi
i have requirment to keep 1 backup at all times

i have full backup level 0 once a week
incremental backups 6 times a week

i dnt want my current backup to be removed until the new one is completed! ( full weekly backup takes 10 hours to complete)

i set "CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO REDUNDANCY" to 1 or 2?
