configure remote X Window display on Linux RedHat 4

I am trying to install Oracle 10.2 on Linux RedHat 4 from a remote linux RedHat 4. I have struggled for a long time, trying to display the Universer Installer GUI from my local Linux machine (setting xhost, DISPLAY), but it is not successful. Can you give me some advices on how to configure the display of X Window on Linux RedHat 4 over a ssh connection? Both local and remove machines are Linux RedHat 4, and connection method is SSH.
