Conditional HTML properties of a text box

Hi Guys,

I have a text box on form that is used to display a validation message from a function.

What I am trying to do is to make the background color of the box red if the text_item = 'ERROR: ', if it is not like 'ERROR' then display as normal.

I have tried using a dynamic action with a conditional CSS but with no success.

I am using v4.0.0

Any help would be great
