Conditional branch to submit on page load?

ebenwalkerNov 2 2015 — edited Nov 11 2015

Hi All,

I have a page (REPORT PAGE) which serves as a parameter form for reports and is called from numerous locations in the application.  The calling page sets the various parameters on the REPORT PAGE.   The REPORT PAGE displays all the parameters and has a "run report" button.

The user presses a button (submits the page) to run the report and after the report is displayed the user is returned to the calling page.

I would like to modify the behavior so that the calling page has the option of setting a parameter to cause the report to run immediately - effectively pressing the button and automatically submitting the page.

The concept would be "a conditional submit on load".   Anyone see a workaround to accomplish this?
