Hi,

We are facing performance problem in one of our production database. DB version is 9.2.0.8. One of our fellow DBA has suggested to change the parameter "_complex_view_merging=false" and try out the performance. It is an unsupported hidden parameter. My doubt is whether we can go ahead with changing the parameter or not?
The default value is true and the compatability parameter is set to 9.2.0.8

Do we get any other issues if we change the parameter?

How to verify the dependencies or issues arising out of changing the "_complex_view_merging" parameter?

Kindly provide your valuable suggestions at the earliest, as this is pretty urgent.
