Comparison between Original Exp/Imp and Data pump

Hello All,

I am a student as part of my academic work, I would like to compare the Original Exp/Imp utility and Data pump.
Could someone help me to compare it?
For example, If I have one schema and I am exporting it using both and importing it at different instances.
How can I compare the time taken and performance? Like statistics? I read that Data pump is twice faster than original exp/imp.But how to show that?
