Comparing two Oracle Reports (Old and New versions)

Good morning folks. I have a question and I am not sure there is the perfect answer for it but I might as well know what the options are. I have a current version and a new version of the same RDF. I have them in separate directories and after doing an File -> Administration -> Convert to a .rex file (Ascii), I decided to use WinMerge. I have used it for Oracle Forms and works really well as well as for PL/SQL programs (.sql). With the .rex files, I see differences that are way beyond what I would like to see.

I know that I basically recreated the report from scratch but the layout really hasn't changed. The only things that changed was the Main Query in the Data Model and some of the Program units. Any help in this regard would be great. No hurries.
