Commit/Rollback confirmation missing
757705Mar 3 2010 — edited Apr 5 2010I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and at the same time, got the latest version of SQL Developer. The last two versions I have tried (2.1.0 and 2.1.1) seem to be missing commit confirmation. My last version (can't recall if it was 1.9 or 2.0) would display a very handed "commit processed" (or something to that effect) message on the bottom of the screen after clicking the commit button. A similar message would be displayed for rollbacks. If I actually put a commit statement in a script that I'm running, I get a "commited" statement in the Statement Output window, but no real feedback that the commit button has done anything (other than the time to do the commit showing up, but for quick statements, that could easily be confused).
Was there a decision made to remove this? Is this just a problem with Windows 7 or the new SQLDeveloper? If so, any plans to bring it back? I read through changelogs for this latest version and it mentions commit confirmation, but I still don't have it.
