Im a oracle dba student and was just about to start my own documentation of important stuff. For example how to set up data guard. Ive done this kind of stuff many times but whenever i wanna do it again ill have to go google once again, now i want to refer to my own documentation instead. My practice is limited so i dotn get to do real stuff all the time, so i spend some time doing own tests and doing documentation etc.
My next plan is to get a collection of querys that is good to have. Example this one check data consistency, and i found this on a thread here on the forums
select
FILE#, CREATION_CHANGE#, TO_CHAR(CREATION_TIME,'DD-MON-RR HH24:MI'),
CHECKPOINT_CHANGE#, TO_CHAR(CHECKPOINT_TIME,'DD-MON-RR HH24:MI:SS')
from v$DATAFILE_HEADER
order by 1;
Maybe this sql query documentation is unnecessary if there is some good homepage out there with them all? If there is, please provide it for me, or be kind to post your personal collection of good querys.
Regards, Johan
