cold backup rac +asm+ rman

Hi,
I would like to backup my RAC db (its on asm and noarchivelog mode). Can I do cold backup with rman catalog?

My db is version 11.2 , can I still use rman catalog v11.1 ?

I also wondered if i can run the cronjob from catalog sever instead of local rac node? Just so im protected against rac node failure!
