CMSDK desupported?

It seems to me that Oracle will end the support of CMSK in the next month.
Possibly they want to force developers to a migration to Content DB or Collab Suite Content Services. But in both APIs I could not find the features which we used in the CMSDK API.
On the other hand when we move to Content DB how long this API will be available?
Please correct me when I'm wrong.
