cluvfy fails the test

hi all,
i am struggling to setup the 10G RAC on windows VMware. i get errors when i run the following command
cluvfy.bat comp nodecon -n all
"it shows that network interface cards on all nodes cannot be virified"
cluvfy.bat comp nodereach -n all
is successfull
cluvfy.bat comp ssa -n all
is successfull

NIC names are same on both nodes. I can ping from host to guest and vice versa. i can copy to and fro. everything as per windows standards seems to be working fine but "nodecon" command fails

help will be highly appreciated
