Closed - Loop Report CRM Integration

Hi,

I want to change several opportunity stages in CRM , but I need do not affect my closed loop reporting. How could I do that ?

Should I disable my get opportunity auto synch, delete the old stages and set the new stages or I need to disable all auto sychs ?
