Cloning Physical Models

T. SchulzeSep 3 2015 — edited Sep 3 2015

We have an older Project, where we did a Migration from Oracle Database 11gR2 to Version 12c. The development is done by DataModeler 4.1.1.888. To do the same migration in our modell we created a new physical model 12c. In the new physical modell we see that Matrialized Views, Tables, Views ... are automatically prebuild by Datamodeler. To get all other things like Sequences, Functions, .... we performed a "Clone from" of the physical model 11g. After doing that everything looks fine except the Materialized Views. After cloning every Materialized View is doubled. The body of the new Materialized View is empty.

- is this the correct way to migrate a model to a new version ?

- is it correct, that the clone from function includes Materialized Views (because they are prebuild by creating the new model)?
