Cloning Oracle database from Linux to Windows

We are wondering if there is any document you could point us to to accomplish cloning an oracle 11g database from Linux X64 to Windows X64

We know we can use data pump to accomplish this by pre-creating the database on windows and then moving the application database objects from source to target but we were wondering if we can accomplish the same task using RMAN

Our database version is 12cR2
