Clonig DB wihtout SYSAUX TBS is possible

Hi to all,

The below line is I got from Oracle® Database Backup and Recovery Advanced User's Guide as I was reading, how to clone a database.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14191/rcmdupdb.htm#i1006474

"You can exclude any tablespace except the SYSTEM tablespace or tablespaces" .
This means can we skip SYSAUX tablspace?

Please clarify..
