Clocks out of sync on free tier cloud database

Natalia BarczyszynDec 24 2023 — edited Dec 26 2023

Hi,

I recently set up a free tier cloud database which Oracle paused after 7 days of inactivity. I need to reactivate the database so that I can reconnect to it via Oracle SQL Developer. The only way to do this is to sign back in to my Oracle Cloud login where I initially established the database. When I log in, I receive the following message:

Clocks out of sync

Your computer clock must be synchronized with the server clock. Check your clock settings, and try again.

I can't get past this message, so I won't be able to reactivate my database until this part is resolved. I use a Mac and checked my date/time preferences, which already sync automatically with US times (I'm in EST which is also the time zone of my database). I'm not sure how to resolve this since everything seems to be fine on my end - has anyone come across this issue before and been able to solve it on a Mac? I was working on a project and now I can't access my tables and data. I tried to contact Oracle Support but they do not provide support to free tier customers. Any help would be appreciated, would love to be able to finish this project. Thank you!
