Clickable row with redirection to another page in Apex 5

Classic report

I have a requirement to make a report row clickable in a classic report and redirect to another page by passing the id value of that row which will be set on a page item in the redirected page.

I followed steps similar to the one described in this blog Notes on Oracle: APEX: Make a report row clickable in Report . But its not working with Apex 5 and i am not sure how to pass the id value along with the redirection.

PS. I am still beginner in javascript and jquery.
