clearmake and CC_lockfile errors?

We are getting the following errors when we try and build our workspace using clearmake in multi-threaded mode. Things work just fine if we build in single threaded mode. We get the following error in multithread mode:

Multiple versions of "/vobs/CP/forecast/apps/obj/dbg_wp_32_dyn/rg/SunWS_cache/CC_lockfile" were accessed during build script.
Interference from another process?

I'm running the following version of the C++ compiler:

CC: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C++ 5.3 Patch 111685-10 2002/09/16
