Clear Text Box

I have noticed that some TEXT BOXES & PWD Boxes will retain data in them as I'm running them multiple times during testing. Is there a CLEAR feature?
I've tried CLEAR SESSION STATE from the Properties box for the item, but it doesn't appear to be clearing the information.
