Cleaning up ASM

user597594Oct 1 2007 — edited Oct 3 2007
Hello all;
I am trying to wipe out ASM instances from my RAC and recreate them. This is because of a memory change that I have made to benefit from the larger SGA in 32-bit. After this change ASM instances became unstable. I started removing ASM instances from CRS but it can not remove the resources. It made the CRS to hang. I guess I do not have any issue with CRS itself but I can not clean it up from the ASM records.
I wiped out the ASM directories, files and whatever I thought belong to ASM, but I still have issue to clean up the OCR from ASM record. I appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Majid
