Classic report Break Formatting

Hello,

in Classic Report Attributes we have an option to set break formatting and select up to 3 columns. There are also additional fields Report Break Format, Before Row, Column Break Format and After Row. But no matter what I try and fill into these fields, it has absolutely no impact on how the classic report looks like. Please, could anybody kindly explain how these fields are supposed to work and if it even works?

(tried on APEX 5.0.2-4, theme 42 + Productivity Apps, everytimes the same behavior)
