classes12.zip path setting

hi all,

i am using JDBC to connect to oracle 9i on a remote server.i am using j2sdk1.4,i don't have oracle installed in my machine.i am getting the following error
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
where do i need to add the classes 12.zip in the java path..please send me the path..
