The current Oracle DB server that ApEx is running on does not have an active Oracle maintenance agreement. In about two months we plan to move it to a server that will have an active Oracle maintenance agreement. I would like to upgrade our 3.x version of ApEx to the current version of 4.x now and not have to wait. A manager in our company is telling me that we are not entitled to Oracle software upgrades because we do not have a maintenance agreement. Is this true for ApEx? I though since ApEx is free it does not matter if you have a maintenance agreement or not and want to upgrade and existing instance of ApEx. Thanks for the help in advance.
