CJQ0 is high running process

We are currently running Oracle Database 11.1.0.7 on a Solaris platform. We have been on 11g for about 6 weeks now.

For the last week, the CJQ0 process has been the highest running process.

Can anybody shed some light on what could be causing this and how we could go about rectifying it. It conincodes with a drastic degredation in the performance of
our database with regards to queries and reports.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated
