check table locks/ row locks from the alert log...

hi,

is it sufficient to look at the alert on that particular date when user has complain that there is a table locks/ row locks ( acquired transaction lock ).

If i am not wrong, whenever there is transaction lock which also known as object lock, it will be reflected on the alert log?
