Character set Issue in linux.

Hi ,

I have certain issues facing on linux.
Cannot display extended character set in java on linux.

Linux shows me
Ascii character
214- ��
205- ��
226- ��
219- ��

on my windows machine
214 �
205 �
226 �
219 �

I think some linux is not able to understand the character set.
Can some please tell me how can i set a character set on linux ?
