Changing the GNS VIRTUAL IP

__OUTSIDER___May 4 2012 — edited May 5 2012
Hi experts,

I wonder if someone can help me with this because I already searched online and nothing was found .
Thanks in advance.

I have 2 node RAC (11.2.0.1.0) installed on Linux 5.7 UEK.
I was cloned the entire environment. 2 Linux machines with Grid infra and RAC and 1 Linux Netserver for DNS and DHCP.
After my changes of IP address everything is work as expected.
All this I did for enabling Data Guard for 2 clusters. Now I must change the GNS IP but command is fails. If anyone have such experience please advice.

[root@cluster1node2 ~]# /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/bin/srvctl modify gns -i 192.168.2.151
PRCS-1055 : Failed to modify Grid Naming Service VIP cluster-gns.it.data/192.168.2.151
PRCR-1071 : Failed to register or update resource ora.gns.vip
CRS-2547: Update of an internal or read-only attribute 'NAME (READONLY)' for resource 'ora.gns.vip' is not allowed
