changing LOV display value based on Locale

Mohammad JabrJan 24 2011 — edited Feb 23 2011
Hello All,
I have this problem:
my application is supposed to support two languages, English and another language.
the user can change the locales by pressing a command link in his/her browser and switch between these two locales,
all labels and messages are converted correctly.

but in my case I am using several lookup view objects as a data source for my LOV.
as an example the views contain three columns:
1- id : which is the return value
2- English_meaning: description in English
3- Another_language_meaning: description in another language.

is there any way to change the display value in LOV based on locale
(i.e. if the user choose English Locale the English_meaning column will be displayed on LOV. and when he/she switch to non_English_locale,the Another_language_meaning column will be displayed)

any help please.
