Changing IP Address

Hi,

I need to change IP address of sun E-420 R machine.

I will let u see the following this.

[SIN_WEB_L01]:root:/ :10 >ifconfig -a
lo0: flags=1000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 8232 index 1
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
hme0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
inet 192.168.8.6 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.8.255
ether 8:0:20:f0:f:87
hme1: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 3
inet 192.168.7.6 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.7.255
ether 8:0:20:f0:f:87

Here I need to change 192.168.8.6 to 192.168.8.1 and an external IP address 192.168.7.6 to 192.168.7.1.

Could any one give me the brief solution please.
