changing golden gate target database

Hi ,

I am a newbie and does not have any hands on experience on Golden gate. I have a question.

Can we change the target database of golden gate configuration.

Say we have a source database S1 and target database T1. Golden gate is configured between S1 and T1. After few days i create a new database T2 from T1 (different methods IMPDP/EXPDP,TTS,RMAN).

Now can i break the connection between S1 and T1 of golden gate and repoint S1 to T2 and start replication in T2.
