change the size of a Jpanel automatically ?

hello,

I'm just wondering if there is a certain way to change the size of a Jpanel depending on the content of this Jpanel.
in other words, let's suppose we have a Jpanel to which i want to add buttons on the same line, so i want after a certain number of buttons for the Jpanel to augment its size so it can fit all the buttons.
