I'm having a terribly difficult time changing my APEX developer account password. I'm using OCI Free Tier, so APEX version 20.2.
I am able to log into the development environment, but when I try to run any app that is still configured to use the Application Express Accounts authentication scheme, my username and password does not work.
When I log into my own developer account, I click the user/wrench icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Change My Password. I enter my current password, and then a new password (twice) and click Apply Changes. I then sign out. I assume I should now be able to log back into the development environment with my new password, but I cannot. I still have to enter the previous password before the database allows me to log back in. However, the app I launched and tried to log into DOES allow me to log in with the new password. It's just the development environment that still requires my old password.
I tried it a different way, but clicking the Administration Services link on the login page, and entering the ADMIN password of the Autonomous Database. I click Manage Workspaces, and then Manage Developers and Users. I click my account name and enter a new Password and confirm it. Apply Changes. Again, I assume that I should be able to log in with this developer account with the new password, but again, it does not work. I always have to use the previous password to access developer, even though the apps DO honor the new password.
As a troubleshooting step, I restarted the Autonomous DB this morning to no avail.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
