Subcontractor Change Order SOV upload including amounts/values

To be able to upload an SOV breakout for a subcontractor change order including the amounts/values (not just line/phase code # and description).

  • If this is an existing task, how would you like to see this task enhanced or improved? Add the ability to include the amounts/values in the upload CSV file, instead of having to delete the original line, putting the change order out of balance, then manually typing in the amounts in Textura.
  • Who (what role) needs to be able to accomplish this task? PM (Project Accountants, typically, with the Textura PM role)
  • What Textura pages (if any) do you expect to be affected by your idea? Subcontractor Edit SOV screen

How and why does this idea contribute to the success of your organization?

  • What will the business impact be on your organization if your idea is delivered? This will cut down on the time it takes to break out subcontractor change order SOVs, and will also reduce manual entry errors
  • How many users do you expect to be affected by this improvement? All PAs on larger projects with phased GMPs where large scopes are added as change orders.
  • How much time or cost savings do you expect to be affected by this improvement? 5-10 min per change order
