Change nodemanager password in 13c

NS387362Apr 11 2016 — edited Apr 25 2016

I have a new OEM 13c set up that is working wonderfully, except for one minor issue. During my install and setup, I used the generic welcome1 password for weblogic and nodemanager. After my setup was complete and I poked around a little bit, I wanted to change those passwords to something a little more secure.

I followed note 1450798.1 to change the weblogic and nodemanager psaswords. And that worked for the most part. My only issue is that the agent on the OMS host can't connect to the nodemanager to monitor the status.

The only error I can see is in log $AGENT_BASE/agent_inst/sysman/log/emagent_perl.trc:

nmresponse.pl: 2016-04-05 13:59:07,068: ERROR: em_error= Error occurred while performing nmConnect : Cannot connect to Node Manager. : Received error message from Node Manager Server: [Access to domain 'GCDomain' for user 'nodemanager' denied]. Please check Node Manager log for details.

I have an SR open and we have worked a few things, but no success as of yet. I wanted to post this out here in case someone else has run into this before and has any suggestions.

I appreciate any help you can provide!
