Change ILOM shutdown temperature threshold for front panel temperature sens

807557May 24 2010 — edited May 26 2010
How can I rase the shutdown temperature limit for a sensor?

I have tried:
-> set /SYS/FP/T_AMB upper_nonrecov_threshold=45.00
set: Object cannot be written
This is a x4100 that keeps shutting down due to the front panel temperature sensor:
/SYS/FP/T_AMB is reporting 46.00 degrees at one point -- and that causes a shutodwn of the OS.

The current limits for the sensor are:
upper_nonrecov_threshold	45.00 degree C
upper_critical_threshold	35.00 degree C
upper_noncritical_threshold	30.00 degree C
