change background of push button

hello everyone, can you help me.... i want to change background color of push button in oracle form builder 6i but i cant
in the case of set item property its possible in oracle 10g and over but it isn't work in oracle 9i.

this setitem_property('btn', background_color, 'r255g0b0');_ is not working in oracle 9i

can somebody tell me what should i do to change it
