change a cell background color conditionally

SmithJohn45Sep 20 2020 — edited Sep 20 2020

hi, i have created 3 classic reports to have examples of highlighting row, text, text within a column with the help of google. now i want to change background color of a cell conditionally.

if a sal column value is <= 1000 then it should be red,  if > 1000 and <= 2000 then green otherwise brown -- and font / foregound color should be white --

please help how i can do it in report CR - Highlight Cell BG Color - page #11.

also wants to know, in IR and IG i can highlight the row, cell, value as in all 4 types of classic reports example? or there are different methods/approach etc.
