Hi everyone,

Looking for some help. As a newbie to sun and solaris I was stuck holding the bag on a T5220 running LDOM's atatching to and EMC Clarion. I need to get HBA's installed and multipath a cuple of Emulex HBAs to share some volumes out. After much work, I've got the right patches and have the HBA's lit up and seen by the OS and cfgadm -al. I need a lttle help going from that step to actaully having some paths that are usable. here's some output that shows my LUN's unconfigured. If I run "cfgadm -c configure C2 ( and C3)". They will NOT go to a configured state. Emulex 4GB HBA's ; Solaris 5.10, running Logical domains. EMC Clarion; fiber plugged in and blinking green and amber on each light;

# cfgadm -al -o show_SCSI_LUN
Ap_Id Type Receptacle Occupant Condition
c2 fc-fabric connected unconfigured unknown
c3 fc-fabric connected unconfigured unknown

# luxadm -e port
/devices/pci@0/pci@0/pci@8/pci@0/pci@8/SUNW,emlxs@0/fp@0,0:devctl NOT CONNECTED
/devices/pci@0/pci@0/pci@8/pci@0/pci@a/SUNW,emlxs@0/fp@0,0:devctl NOT CONNECTED

My SAN admin is worthless and the engineer who started this project left the company before the HBA's got here...wah wah . Just need a little help getting from where I am to a formatted volume.
