certificate error when going to https://localhost:1158/em

First, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I downloaded and installed Oracle 11.2.0.1.0. I THNIK I installed it correctly; I followed all the instructions in the various installation guides.

I am now in the process of trying to create and configure the database. I am at the point when I click on Database Control it opens up Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 and it tries to get to https://localhost:1158/em

The problem I'm having is that it keeps telling me that "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." I tell it to go ahead and go to the site and it tries and then just sits there. I even added https://localhost:1158/em to the trusted sites list and still nothing.

I don't know if it's something I've done or not done in the installation of Oracle, or if it's how I've got my security settings configured.

I've also tried http://localhost:1158/em and http://host.domain:1158/em and https://host.domain:1158/em they all either give me the certificate error or tell me that they can't connect.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or know where I can go to figure this out? Anything short of picking up the computer and throwing it out the window would be extremely helpful!
