Cert expire Check

Hi,
I have Directory 7.0 running and would like to find out when certificate will expire so that we can avoid down time by renewing before it expires.
Can this be done using ldapsearch?

I know i can do using dsadm list-certs -C instance-path but to do this i have to stop the slapd.
