centroid problem

Mark WooldridgeApr 21 2010 — edited Apr 22 2010
Why does the following not provide a correct answer? but if you take the srid of 8307 out it does
select sdo_geom.sdo_centroid(geo_polygon, 0.005)
  from (select sdo_geom.sdo_geometry(2003, 8307, null,
                                     sdo_elem_info_array(1, 1003, 1),
                                     sdo_ordinate_array(38.1373, 126.8295,
                                                        38.1368, 126.8292,
                                                        38.1369, 126.8286,
                                                        38.1386, 126.8291,
                                                        38.1373, 126.8295)) geo_polygon
          from dual)
/

result:
SDO_GEOMETRY(2001, 8307, SDO_POINT_TYPE(-141.86252, 53.1709267, NULL), NULL, NULL)

select sdo_geom.sdo_centroid(geo_polygon, 0.005)
  from (select sdo_geom.sdo_geometry(2003, null, null,
                                     sdo_elem_info_array(1, 1003, 1),

                                                        38.1369, 126.8286,
                                                        38.1386, 126.8291,
