Hi!

I´m new in usage Oracle XE 10g.

I have a clean small installation of CentOS 5.3 (Server installation with only the BASE package)

Install the "oracle-xe-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm" package
Run the "/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure" command
(usage the default parameters)

All seams OK....

When I try to connect to the host I got error.
"Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host."

I have also try to connect from command prompt with "lynx" and get same.
Have also try from a remote host (FireFox) and access it by usage the IP address to the host, like http://192.168.0.50:8080/apex
and get "Unable to connect" (have SWE lang, maybe translate wrong)

Is there a log file where I can check for hints (error etc)?

Have I miss some step?

Can some one help me?

Thanks
