Hi there,

Can anyone tell me when (if?) Sun are going to release a generic implementation of CDC/FP/PP for Windows based J2ME developers?

I am currently producing a major PDA data gathering application, CLDC/MIDP simply can't cater for the flexible UI that we require - yet it seems (can someone correct me?) - that if we go with something like a Jeode VM/Personal Java solution we will be ruling ourselves out of using Palm based PDAs and become restricted to PocketPC, with the Code Warrior development environment (in order to develop and deploy from Windows)?

- Incidentally I mean no disrespect to Code Warrior, but we have used Sun Forte/One and Borland JBuilder for a long time, so it would be a pity (and a license expense) to have to change just for deployment reasons.
