FAO anyone who has implemented Cash Flow reporting in HFM
Hi All
We currently only have the P&L and Balance Sheet in the CoA. I have been tasked with building a simple Cash Flow report in HFM.
Has anyone done this before and what approach did they use? Also, how long did it take?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of
- the 'traditional' indirect approach of creating a CF account hierarchy and creating rules to populate them
- the 'rules-free' approach of attaching a movement table to all balance sheet accounts and building the CF hierarchy in the same custom dimension
