Cascading Data Guard Standby databases - Primary RAC 10.2.0.5

here is the issue i am facing to :
i am studying the posibility to have a cascaded standby for our prod database.
basically the architecture looks like this :
Primary (10.2.0.5, RAC) ----Ph Sby---> Secondary (10.2.0.5, RAC). what we want to do is to add a 3rd single instance database
from which we could do some clones for the developers, and in the same time keep the main HA system active.
have any of you looked into this issue? i could use some advice :)
