Career Advice to Oracle DBA

I am Ramesh Reddy from Bangalore, India.I am having experience on java for 2 years and Manual Testing on Solaris and linux for 4 years. I am planning to change my Career to Oracle DBA . Can any one give me a suggestion , Is it right decision to shift my Career to Oracle DBA. If it is suitable for me how the opportunities for DBA
